Brooklyn Eagles Wool Hat - Green

The Eagles played their inaugural season at Brooklyn’s Ebbets Field in 1935, but moved to Newark just one year later. Co-owned and managed by Effa Manley, the first and only woman inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame, the Eagles were a powerhouse of the Negro Leagues, winning the NLWS in 1946. The following year, their home-grown star Larry Doby became the second Black player to break the color barrier and the first in the American League.

This home run from Ebbets Field is stitched in small batches from 14oz wool broadcloth and made to last. Detailed with the original felt ‘NY’ logo from the 1935 season and comes finished with an adjustable genuine leather strap for a comfortable fit.
